Hangzhou Asian Games Village is located on the south bank
of the Qiantang River, with a total area of 113 hectares. The
construction of the Asian Games Village is in line with the concept
of “green, smart, economical, ethical”, and its planning and
design fully take into account the needs of urban development and
environmental protection, so as to integrate the green Asian Games
venues into the city and achieve a harmony between the venues
and the ecology. Besides, the layout of the facilities will also take
into account the religious habits and lifestyles of the participating
countries and regions of the Asian Games. The planned Asian
Games Village consists of Athletes Village, Technical Officials
Village and Media Village. The Athletes Village is located in the
northeast part of the site, with a flag square, an athlete dining hall,
an information service center, a fitness center, etc. The Technical
Officials Village is located in the southwest part of the site, and
the Media Village in the northwest part of the site, providing
accommodation, catering, leisure, entertainment and other
facilities and services for referees and media reporters. The Asian
Games Village can accommodate more than 10,000 athletes and
accompanying officials, about 5,000 media personnel, and nearly
4,000 Technical Officials.
