人民币是中华人民共和国的法定货币，由中国人民银

行发行，单位是元（块），辅币单位是角和分。1元等于10角，
1 角等于 10 分。人民币分为纸币和硬币。目前发行的人民

币有 3 种不同面额的硬币：1 角、5 角、1 元，6 种不同面
额的纸币：1 元、5 元、10 元、20 元、50 元和 100 元。

Issued by the People’s Bank of China, the Renminbi (RMB)
is the legal tender of the People’s Republic of China (PRC). The
basic unit of RMB is yuan and the units of fractional currency of
RMB are jiao and fen. The RMB is divided into banknotes and
coins. There are currently 3 denominations of RMB coins issued,
namely 1 jiao, 5 jiao and 1 yuan, and 6 kinds of notes, namely 1
yuan, 5 yuan, 10 yuan, 20 yuan, 50 yuan and 100 yuan.
