Cultural Extension: Dragon Boat

划龙舟是中国传统节日—端午节最重要的民俗活动

之一，在中国南方很流行。关于划龙舟的起源有多种说法，
如祭曹娥、祭屈原、祭水神或龙神等，其源头可追溯至原

始社会末期，后来陆续传至邻国日本、越南等，现已被列
入国家级非物质文化遗产名录。龙舟项目第一次被列入亚

运会正式比赛是在 2010 年的广州亚运会上， 4 年后的仁
川亚运会没有设置该项目，到了 2018 年雅加达亚运会，

组委会再次恢复了龙舟比赛。龙舟项目目前在全球范围内
都非常流行。

Dragon Boat Racing, as one of the most important folk
activities of the Dragon Boat Festival, a traditional Chinese
festival, is very popular in southern China. There are many stories
about the origin of the activity, such as offering sacrifices to Cao
E, Qu Yuan, water gods or dragon gods, etc., which can be traced
back to the end of primitive society, and then introduced into
neighboring Japan, Vietnam and so on. Now it has been included
in the National Intangible Cultural Heritage List. The dragon boat
event was first included in the official competition of the Asian
Games in Guangzhou in 2010. Four years later, the event was
