The next horse racing between Sun bin and the king began. In
the first round, Tian Ji chose his third-class horse against the king’s
first-class horse. As can be imagined, Tian Ji lost the first racing.
In the second round, Tian Ji sent his first-class horse against the
king’s second-class counterpart, then Tian Ji won the game. In the
third round, Tian Ji sent his second-class horse against the king’s
third-class horse, and he won again. In the best of three series,
Tian Ji defeated the king in horse racing for the first time.
